Hi, I’m Brittany!
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2018 from the University of Alberta, and soon after packed my bags for London, England, to pursue my dream of becoming a physiotherapist. With a lifelong background in dance and snowboarding—and a big passion for health, fitness, and travel—heading overseas to complete my MSc in Physiotherapy felt like the perfect path.
Before qualifying as a physio, I worked as an Athletic Therapist and Kinesiologist, helping out in private clinics and with various sports teams in the Parkland area. Since completing my MSc in 2021, I’ve returned to the Parkland area, where I’m all about helping people with everything from daily aches to sports-related injuries.
My treatment style combines manual therapy and exercise, and I’m dedicated to getting you back to the activities you love.
Outside the clinic, you’ll probably find me planning my next travel adventure, hitting the slopes, or enjoying a good pilates or hot yoga class.

Hi I’m Mike!
I graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2017, majoring in Sport Performance. From there I completed a Masters in Physical Therapy in December of 2020.
Growing up in British Columbia in an active household, I’ve always had an early interest in movement and exercise. I’ve experienced my fair share of injuries and have naturally had a passion toward Physiotherapy for the past decade. I love to help others understand their injuries and provide them the tools to work toward an improved quality of life.
My treatment style reflects this passion by combining exercise rehab with education and manual therapy/biomedical dry needling to achieve each client’s personalized goals!
Outside of the clinic you’ll find me staying active in a bit of every sport (particularly volleyball and squash), cheering for my emotional roller coaster of a hockey team, or out in the mountains hiking.

I became a Dietitian because I’ve always had a passion for health. Nutrition is so misunderstood, so I love being able to dispel nutrition myths, provide education so people feel better about their bodies and the food their eating, as well as helping my clients develop lifelong habits that will carry them through various stages of their lives.
I have a special interest in women’s health, specifically in the areas of preconception, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and improving menstrual cycles. I believe this reproductive age is so important to focus on nutrition yet so overlooked, so I aim to provide support to women during such a crucial time in their lives and health.
I also see clients in the areas of weight management, sports nutrition, intuitive/mindful eating, diabetes, and more.
In my spare time you’ll likely find me hanging out with my miniature dachshund, Snoopy, and my husband. I love spending time outside and finding ways to move in any way I can, such as going for walks, lifting weights in my home gym or playing sports (I play baseball and volleyball on some local rec leagues).

Having an athletic background through working out and running, over the years I grew to gain an interest in the human anatomy. That interest eventually brought me to Massage Therapy. I enrolled in the Massage Therapy 2200 hour program in 2011 at the Alberta College of Massage. Through that program I acquired the knowledge for swedish massage, sports massage, therapeutic, prenatal and myofascial release. After receiving my diploma in 2013, I continued my education by taking my fire cupping certification which I love to incorporate into all my treatments as it has great benefits! In all my treatments I try my best to reach the clients needs and goals leaving them relaxed and restored.
Outside of being an RMT and my love for helping others heal, I enjoy spending time at the gym. As well as spending time with my boyfriend and our husky, Jasper. I am so excited to be a part of the Bloom Therapy team and I can’t wait to help my future clients at Bloom Therapy heal and lead a pain free life.

My passion for helping others started as a teen when my late grandfather became ill. Watching his quality of life drastically improve with help from various health care professionals, ranging from his patient care advocate to individual specialists, is what truly pushed me towards my career as a Massage Therapist. I always knew I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives and be a positive addition to their wellness journey, but I wasn’t always sure which path I would take. A few years later, Massage Therapy became the clear choice for me. I have always been fascinated with the human body and how it works, and this profession has allowed me to explore that further.
I started at MaKami College in March 2018 where I gained experience with Therapeutic Massage, Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Prenatal Massage, Infant and child Massage, Hydrotherapy, Trigger Point Release, Proprioception Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), silicone cupping and intra-oral TMJ massage. I was very lucky to start my student practicum at Bloom Therapy Wellness Collective, and have since transitioned to a permanent member of the team. The team atmosphere at Bloom is what I love most, I believe that working together with the client and other practitioners to create a treatment plan that best suits the client’s needs is key to achieving results.
When I am not at the clinic you can find me enjoying time with family and friends in the beautiful outdoors, taking our dog on walks, fishing at our family lake lot in Slave lake or enjoying a good book. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your wellness goals!

I enrolled in MH Vicars School of Massage thinking it would be a good fit for my family. I never realized how much I would enjoy learning. I love how absolutely fascinating our bodies are. People ask me why I love massage so much, I tell them that between the anatomy, physiology and the body’s way of compensating for various orthopedic conditions, it is AMAZING! You start working with a client, focusing on their treatment and everything else goes away. It’s a very peaceful place to be & part of why I love what I do.
I’ve always loved working with people. Massage therapy allows me to connect with a client on a personal level. As a therapist we can have such an effect on our clients allowing them the ‘space’ to heal. My focus as a therapist is more on deeper therapeutic techniques rather than purely on relaxation. That being said I believe the body’s ability to heal is directly linked with its ability to relax.
The outdoors and active lifestyle have always been a key part of my life, which I share with my two young children.
